ELISpot Kits
The Enzyme-Linked Immunospot (ELISpot) assay is a sensitive method for quantification of the number of cytokine secreting cells. ELISpot reagents are available for small frontline research groups as well as for large vaccine trials.
FluoroSpot Kits
The FluoroSpot assay combines the sensitivity of ELISpot with the capacity to study secretion of several analytes simultaneously, enabling studies of cell populations with different functional profiles. The FluoroSpot assay uses fluorescent detection instead of colorimetric. This allows for simultaneous detection of several analytes which is a major advantage, especially when cell numbers are limited. Detection of single analytes using FluoroSpot can be used as an alternative to regular ELISpot.
ELISA Kits
The Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is a specific and highly sensitive method for quantitative measurements of cytokines or other analytes in solutions. ELISA kits are available in two different formats. ELISA Development Kits are adaptable and allow one to set up on your own assay. ELISA Pro is a complete kit and contains everything needed for a straightforward assay.
To answer specific immune response questions, four sensitive immunoassays methods are covered, ELISpot, FluoroSpot, ELISA, and the new FociSpot assay platform.
The assay kits also come in several different formats depending what is needed:
Flex kits. This is the most flexible kit format, containing the core reagents and allowing customisation to your needs.
Plus kits. These are next level kits with a pillar format, pre-coated plates and the most commonly needed reagents to ensure reproducibility.
Pro kits. A premium, thoroughly validated format, only available for certain analytes. It includes every reagent necessary for fast and simple assays.
Path kits. The path kits allow users to find quick answers to very specific research questions. Some kits include peptide pools for studying T cell responses to a pathogen, while others are optimised for researching autoimmune disease.
